Coming from a predominantly deaf family as the hearing child, it can be very difficult & frustrating trying to communicate effectively with any professional service team. This is because the burden is placed on you to be the translator, but when it comes to financial details & technical terms, it can be a confusing & frustrating experience.. However Fanoulla made us feel at home & comfortable with her fluency in BSL. Her skill in effectively flowing between Spoken English & BSL and being able to clearly translate technical details to my family meant that a large burden had been taken off me and that the whole process was as smooth and effortless as possible.. The advice itself was great - the process was made easy for us to understand & Fanoulla explained every detail that was necessary for us, including any silly questions we may have had.. I would recommend anyone to Archers for their mortgage advice - but especially any deaf/hard of hearing people, i will always advise to go to Archers, due to their commitment in including & communicating effectively to all types of people, including the deaf community.
